March 31, 2020 NOTICE – St. Clair Township Campgrounds Update in Regards to Covid-19:
With the Government of Ontario’s extension of the Declaration of Emergency and closure of all communal or shared, public or private, outdoor recreational amenities everywhere in Ontario, we are asking for No unauthorized entry on the grounds of Mooretown, Cathcart, Branton-Cundick Campground for any reason.
We have been monitoring the Covid-19 situation and as of now the May 1st opening date is still viable but could change due to government restrictions. No invoices will be mailed for the 2020 Camping Season until the opening date, and potential limitation on services, are determined.
These are difficult decisions, but are being made for the collective well-being of our campers, guests, and staff.
We will continue to update the status of the campgrounds through our Township and Community Services websites and the Mooretown Sports Complex facebook page.
March 26, 2020 NOTICE:
St. Clair Township – Department of Community Services: Mooretown Sports Complex Spring 2020 Session UPDATE
Due to the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 situation, Spring 2020 swimming lessons and all classes will be postponed until further notice. We want to ensure all our members and users understand that they are our primary focus at this time, and we are hopeful that this position is a temporary situation.
Our swimming lessons will be prorated based on the number of classes that we are hopefully able to offer; however, we understand if some of our customers are not interested in a shortened session and are able to process full refunds for those customers. Any proration will be done when we are able to begin providing services and the remaining credit will be placed on the account. For us to process your refunds (if you so choose) please follow the below steps:
1. Have your original receipt available for reference numbers
2. Have your credit card which was used for the original purchase available (if you paid by cash or debit we will need to issue a cheque and this will take a couple of weeks to process)
3. Please call the Sports Complex at 519-867-2651
Please understand that we will process your program refund at any time during this situation – we want to ensure our customers that the Mooretown Sports Complex wants to best serve you. You will only pay for the programs in which we offer. During these uncertain times we understand that home situations are changing daily. Although we hope to continue to be a valuable part of your home, if you decide that recreation is not a top priority we understand completely.
If you have a membership with us then please understand that we will be extending ALL memberships by the number of days which we have been closed to the public – there is no need to place your memberships on hold during this time.
We once again want to extend our gratitude for your continued support and hope that each one of you stays healthy during this time.
